I’m really impressed with the time Thomas took to explain how to identify a bedbug issue and by his quick confirmation that what we had was beetles not bedbugs. He could have easily said the opposite and make money off my fear but he was truthful and saved me both money and anxiety. If I do ever have another concern he will be my first reach out. Thanks!

K & A Pest Control is amazing. When a friend of mine had to have her house treated for bedbugs, she thought I might have brought them home with me. I suspected the same and called another company for a free inspection. The inspector was rude, unprofessional, and seemed very uninformed about bedbugs. I went on K & A’s website and signed up for a document that gave advice on “what to do when you think you have bedbugs.” Through this sign-up, the owner, Thomas, emailed me personally and asked about my problem. I explained my dilemma, of how I believed the previous inspector missed the bugs and I didn’t feel comfortable in my own bed. Thomas was very understanding, patient, and came by the next day to double check. His inspection was thorough. He checked everything: bed, mattress, cracks, bags, closet… (not just the mattress like the other inspector). I could tell he was determined to find a problem to fix. He did not discover evidence of bedbugs, but graciously came by the next day to set up monitors and install the appropriate mattress covers. Luckily, I ended up not having a bedbug problem – just a big scare, but Thomas gave me peace of mind and that is priceless!

Tom came to check my situation I had a mild bed bug issue .I was embarrassed and confused on what to do .Tom made me feel so much better .He is extremely knowledgeable and he tells you straight but in a professional manner and he made sure i knew eaxaxtly how and why he was doing what he did .He is wonderful to talk to and i would higjly reccomend him to amyone .

I called Tom just picking a random exterminator by Google. Tom answered the phone and I explained to him my situation which is a mess! I had questions in what do being a tenant in an apt. He explained to me when I’m responsible for treatment and when the landlord is obligated to do so.   I’m still in the middle of this mess but it was nice of him to answer my questions even though I’m not the one who would be hiring him. He just was willing to HELP me with answers. I hate that too many landlords out there don’t take care of the problem or just hire a cheapo to say “they hired someone” that did the job but of course don’t care about quality. Therefore the problem isn’t really taken care of so you just end up with the problem all over again! I wish he would just go with Tom but I know the chances of that are slim to none and Tom realizes that also. Tom was willing to help a tenant out with questions to get correct information because he doesn’t just care about $ he cares about solving the problem and obviously showed to me that he realizes no one should have to live like the way I am right now. I have seen the side of him that a lot of people never know about. That just because I’m a tenant it doesn’t mean I’m a nobody! He will give you information that you are most likely unaware of. Thanks Tom for helping me as much as you can. I appreciate people like that! Oh and btw I DID call other exterminators and they were “too busy to talk” once I said I’m a tenant looking for answers. Tom did happens to be busy when I called him on the way to a job but he called me back promptly and even gave me added info in text. I told him I’d refer him to anyone I know that has an issue at all being a tenant, landlord of buildings or an owner of a single home. I like his tactics and to me that says alot.

We own a 9 unit apartment building in Springfield Mass. Early in this year one of our residents reported insect problem and we sent local exterminator immediately. In March we received two more calls from upset residents of that building reporting nocturnal bugs that bite. We called our friend in Somerville Mass who had his apartment building treated only a few months earlier for a similar reason. He told us about K&A Pest Control and highly recommended their service. All of the apartments affected were treated on the same day in early April. K&A Pest Control managed the entire process for us. From proper resident notifications, instructions and actually following up with each family on treatment progress. K&A Pest Control even suggested we make our building’s laundry facility free to residents for a month due to a considerable amount of washing and drying that was required of our residents as a part of the treatment, in order to get better cooperation. My wife and I received a treatment report after each visit via email. Within 4 weeks all of the apartments were bed bug-free. It has been almost 4 months, and we feel very comfortable recommending K&A Pest Control to anyone with a bed bug problem. Their professionalism and expertise are commendable.
